Reactivated Plugins

The plugins I decided to reactivate are listed below. These plugins were chosen because they made the most sense for my website.

  • Jetpack – This plugin is used for security and spam protection. It also has a feature that will link to my Instagram account. This feature will come in handy once I start updating the Instagram account.
  • Wordfence – This plugin is used for security also. It includes a login security that provides the user an option to utilize two factor authentication if desired.
  • Accessibility by Userway – This plugin was used because it makes it easier to provide the user accessibility options when viewing your site.
  • Google Analytics – This app was reactivated because it is helpful when evaluating how well the site is doing and how much online traffic it is receiving.
  • Updraft Plus – This plugin was used again because it makes creating a back up of the site a lot easier by automatically uploading to Drop Box on a schedule that I set.
  • W3 Total Cache – This plugin will help the performance of the website by clearing the cache.
  • Smash Balloon – I liked this plugin because it made using social media within the site a lot easier. It gives the option to embed within Instagram and Facebook so I can make sure my posts will look good when shared across social media.
  • Simple Social Buttons – I reactivated this plugin because I liked the way the social buttons look and it is easy to add to my posts.
  • WooCommerce – This plugin was reactivated because it seems to be the most popular e-commerce plugin. I also installed all suggested plugins from WooCommerce to make sure it all works together within the store.
  • Seriously Simple Podcasting – I liked this plugin when uploading a podcast because it was pretty easy to use and figure it out.
  • Master Slider – This slider was one of the few free options available and has preloaded templates for the images within the slider.
